Bingushi Yusan-kan
Enjoy great view from spacious open-air bath
Bingushi Yusan-kan is very popular for its open-air baths.
In outdoor bath, there are some kinds of
satisfying baths.
①寝湯(Neyu) (Center of the above picture)
寝湯 means a bath that you can lie on your back. As its water is kept 39-40℃, you can soak in the tub for more 30 minutes!
The bath are divided to the size of a man and
there are handrails on both sides to grab.
It's so popular for all people: must-try!
②壺湯(Tsubo-yu)
Tsubo-yu is a bathtub such as ceramic pod
as large as your body. You can enjoy it by sitting on the bottom, hugging your knees to your chest or putting down your legs to the edge of the tub. Its water is a little bit warmer than 寝湯(Neyu), but comfortable.
There are also bathtub made of rocks which have different temperature.
Please choose you like one.
Bingushi Yusan-kan is located at the hill and you can enjoy the view from outdoor bath.
Access
As the above map says,
It is difficult for most people to go there
on your foot and bike: I recommend you
go by your car. If you don't have a car,
you can use train(shinano-railway)from Ueda Station to Sakaki Station or
Techno-Sakaki Station.
From the station, you can use bus (Mon-Sat).

Please be careful:
You can use buses bound for Bingushi-Yusankan from Sakaki Station only 5 times in a day.(10:15, 10:45,13:20,15:03,16:40)
Also, buses bound for Techno-Sakaki Station are 5 times in a day .
